Helleborus--Christrosen

At last my bloom Helleborus Niger in the garden.
The daffoldis and tulips push already her spiky
through the soil.But of snowdrops no-one spoor.
I'm thinking that this mice this bulbs have eaten.
Really a delicious meal for the mice.

On unite place in the garden has itself very
much moss gathered.There where it not
disturbs it can stay.It gives the garden a
very enchanted touch.I like it to much!

An einigen Stellen im Garten hat sich sehr
viel Moos angesammelt,da wo es nicht stört
darf es bleiben.Es gibt dem Garten etwas
verwunschenes.Ich mag das sehr.

A red Helleborus

Endlich blühen meine Christrosen im Garten.
Narzissen und Tulpen beginnen ihre Spitzen
durch die Erde zu schieben.Aber von meinen
Schneeglöckchen keine Spur.Ich vermute
das die Mäuse sie gefressen haben.
Wahrlich ein köstlich Mahl für die Mäuse

In der Antike wurde die Nieswurz von Adlern
beschützt.Es konnte tödlich enden,sie
ohne göttlichen Beistand auszugraben.
Der Samen der Christrose geht gerne auf
Wanderschaft manchmal findet man Samen
in 15 meter Entfernung von der Mutterpflanze,
vorausgesetzt die Christrose fühlt sich im Garten
wohl.Dazu braucht Sie Halbschatten,frischen
gut durchlüfteten,humosen Boden mit etwas
Lehm und Kalk,vor allem Kalk.Das ist
eigentlich schon alles,am besten läßt man sie dann
in Ruhe.
Wenn man eine Christrose pflanzt kann es schon
mal 3 Jahre bis zur Blüte dauern
Christrosen gehören zur Familie der Hahnen-
fußgewächse und sind giftig.
Der Name Helleborus kommt aus dem
Griechischen und bedeutet giftige Speiße.
In der Antike hat man aus dem Wurzelstock
ein Brech und Fiebermittel hergestellt.
Sogar Wahnsinn sollte Helleborus Niger heilen können.
Man erzählt sich das ca.2g der getrockneten
Wurzel ausreichen um einen Menschen zu töten.

My Granny Square Project

In november began I with the chrochet for
my granny square.The colours have been
inspired by the rosy cushion from Ikea.
Always when I have time,chrochet I one
square.It makes very fun.I have 20 squares
but I have still 50 to make.I hope that I
have enough wool for this project.

Im November habe ich mit dem Häkeln
der Quadrate begonnen.
Bisher habe ich 20 Stück brauche aber
bestimmt noch 50.
Immer wenn ich Zeit habe,häkle ich ein
Quadrat.
Die Inspiration für die Farbgestaltung
der Decke gaben mir meine
Sommerkissen von Ikea.

Jessica Mc Clintocks Buch "Simple Romantic Decoration" gewährt
uns einen Einblick in ihr Haus und ihren Dekorations-Stil.

Sie versteht es mit wenigen Mitteln wie zum Beispiel einfache
Blumensträuße , eine romantische Atmosphäre in ihr Heim
zu bringen.

Birgit und Sabrina wollten etwas mehr über das Buch erfahren
und Birgit fragte ob ich das Buch empfehlen könnte.
Meine Antwort kann darauf nur ja heißen.
Aber das ist nur supjectiv , da jeder einen anderen Geschmack hat
und sich unter einer einfachen romantischen deko was anderes
vorstellt , habe ich beschlossen einige Bilder aus diesem Buch zu
zeigen.So könnt ihr euch selber ein Bild davon machen was
Jessica Mc Clintock unter "Simple Romantic Decoration"versteht.

und weißer Farbe gebastelt.
In das Holz hat mein Mann mir eine Nut ge-

Korken habe ich dann mit Schrauben von
hinten befestigt

Jahresbeginn Beginnig of the year

The old year we had let it was time with many gladness,
other times with disappointment.
Christmas with roast meat long since past,cookies boxes all
emptied and packed away.
The last day in the year with fondue say goodbye and
the new year with champagne greets.
Now it's there,that year 2008 some hold session first old,
that year lies clean still so,nearly virginal before us and
however it begins with January.

January is for me a beautiful month,that year has began just,
one is still fuller expectancy.In my head I have many ideas
for diverse projects,have still to read time and to the dream
wait fuller. Desire on the Springtime,wait on that first snowdrop,
the first tulips,I wait.
But at first we have to still many a frost and maybe also snow
behind us let,before it Springtime get.We have still winter.
It will be brighter everyday,the Springtime comes near.
I wait.


Das alte Jahr haben wir mal mit Freude mal mit Enttäuschung
hinter uns gelassen.Weihnachten mit seinem Fesstagsbraten
längst Vergangenheit,Keksdosen alle geleert und weggepackt
Den letzten Tag im Jahr mit Fondue verabschiedet und das
Neue Jahr mit Champagner begrüßt.
Nun ist es da , das Jahr 2008,erst einige Tage alt , liegt es
noch rein beinahe jungfräulich vor uns,und wie immer
beginnte es mit Januar einer meiner Lieblingsmonaten.


Januar ist für mich ein schöner Monat,das Jahr hat gerade begonnen,
man ist noch voller Erwartung.
In meinem Kopf spuken jede Menge Ideen für die verschiedenen
Projekte herum,habe Zeit zum Lesen und zum Träumen.
Warte! Warte voller Sehnsucht auf den Frühling,
warte auf das erste Schneeglöckchen,die ersten Tulpen,
ich warte.
Aber zuerst müssen wir noch manchen Frost und vielleicht auch noch
Schnee hinter uns lassen,bevor es Frühling wird
Es immer noch Winter,aber mit jedem Tag der heller wird,
kommen wir dem Frühling ein Stückchen näher.
Ich warte!
